Stephen (Steve) began providing appraisal services in 1987. It was then that Shelton Appraisal Service was created. Steve has provided appraisal services in all property categories over the past 30 years. Steve has acquired the majority of his in-depth education through the Appraisal Institute. His dedication to the field led to him earning the MAI, SRA, AI-GRS and AI-RRS designations of The Appraisal Institute. These designations have long been recognized by courts of law, government agencies, financial institutions, and investors. They are a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis. Steve is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Florida. He is also a member of the International Right of Way Association.
Kyle graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Applied Science, majoring in Agri-Business and minoring in Entrepreneurship. He then joined his family’s firm in providing appraisal services. His appraisal experience includes a wide variety of income-producing properties, partial acquisitions and various other complex assignments. Property types appraised range from individual single-family residences to extensive development projects. Over his career, Kyle has provided arbitration, mediation and litigation support on multiple cases including civil suits, estate settlements, dissolution of marriages and various impact studies. Kyle is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Kentucky and Indiana. He earned his MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute in 2017 and is a member of the International Right of Way Association.
